Love, it was enough to recognize.

To see, I was the reason you feel sick inside.

          You leaned back into your computer chair, thoughts of Eridan raced through your mind as you ran your fingers through your hair. You had been close friends with him for a while, and you tried not to look at him as anything more than a friend, as you assumed he wouldn't feel the same way. Or at least, that was until the day he confessed to you, and you rejected him.

          You wanted to apologize for your selfish endeavors. Because in all truth, you needed Eridan in your life, but because of your own actions, that is not possible.

          You felt guilty after that. And you still do. Eridan had a hard time pulling himself together afterwards. You didn't like to see him this way and the more you looked back on the time you spent with him, you really couldn't believe you were so oblivious to his advances.

          You contemplated and beat yourself up majority of your time over what you should do. You didn't want all of the time you spent with each other to just wash away and mean nothing. But you feel he may not want to be around you any longer.

          You've thought about this so much, and it's pretty overwhelming. But you've come to the conclusion that maybe you were just being oblivious to your own feelings. You realize now that you could only smile around Eridan. His adorable stutter, his soft hair, and the way he could be such a sweetheart at times despite his grumpy demeanor. You loved everything about him; though you only just noticed. And now you're self-deprecating yourself into a dark hole.
